J. Craig Venter Institute x Quantum Biology Institute Collaboration

The Quantum Biology Institute is proud to announce a new research partnership with the J. Craig Venter Institute (JCVI) to study how microbial model organisms respond to weak magnetic fields.

This collaboration will leverage JCVI’s renowned expertise in genomics, synthetic biology, and bioinformatics, along with their advanced facilities, to push the boundaries of what we know about life’s response to subtle environmental influences. Together, we aim to explore these effects through a multiomics lens—examining how magnetic shifts impact biological systems at multiple molecular levels.

By working together, we hope to bridge the gap between quantum science and molecular biology, opening new avenues for understanding life at its most fundamental level.

This is an exciting step forward for quantum biology research, and we look forward to sharing insights from our work in the future.
